Welcome to! We’re really happy to have you as part of our health and fitness community that we like to call Team Fit & Able.

If you’re like most of our visitors you’re committed to leading a life of good health, physical fitness, and personal wellness. Whether you’re an experienced athlete or just trying to figure out your first steps, you’re set in mind, body, and soul on pursuing those goals.

Pursuing good health and fitness isn’t just an adventure. It’s a life long journey.

Our mission is to help you along that journey.

There is no get fit quick scheme. At least not one that’s actually healthy for you.

Making big life changes is incredibly intimidating. We know! But we also know that it is possible for you to be successful.

Better yet once you see the results you’ll want to keep going. We don’t want to call it an addiction but . . . you won’t want to quit.

Fit & Able has been staging events, training athletes, and educating the public for over 20 years now. That’s a ton of accumulated experience we have to share with you!

This page will guide you through our best resources, all our activities, and anything else we believe will help you start your journey to better health and fitness.

As you’ll hear again and again, we believe that one of the keys to success is surrounding yourself with people who support you. For one, it’s so much harder to do this all by yourself. And, two, the more the merrier, right?

So, first, please subscribe to our newsletters. The best way to do this is to sign up for one of our events! You can also zip an email to too.

Then, follow us on social media. We are most active on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

We post all of our new content plus updates and links for all of our events and training programs here and it’s the easiest way to stay up to day on what’s going on with Fit & Able. We’d love for you to be a part of these communities!

Finally, if there’s something you need or if there’s anything you’d like to suggest, contact us directly! We can’t help you best if we don’t know what you want or need. Feel free to zip us an email to ask questions, suggest new topics for podcasts and blog posts, or to just give us some feedback. We’ve only got a small team and will try to respond as fast as possible.

Step 3: Explore What We’ve Got For You is our HQ. We aren’t a gym like the YMCA and we don’t sell canned fitness programs like Beachbody. But everything we do have you can find right here.

  1. Better Energy - To some it may seem odd but exercising actually boosts your energy. This increased energy will help power you through the day, be more productive at work, and generally feel better.
  2. Weight Loss - This is a no brainer. Exercise is the other part of the weight loss equation. Eating right will only get you so far; exercising will seal the deal.
  3. Improved Relationships - This isn’t saying that people will like you more if you’re in shape. Rather you’ll have more energy, less stress, and be ready to do all the things that make relationships with your friends and family strong.
  4. Positive Mental Attitude - Exercise doesn’t just make you physically fit. It also makes you mentally fit. The positive changes you see your body making, your new boundless energy, and great relationships do wonders to how you view yourself and the world.
  5. Do the Things You Love - Nothing makes people happier than being able to do the things we love with those we love. With both energy and physical ability you will be able to live your dreams each and every day.


Fit & Able staged it’s first event almost 20 years ago. Now we have over a dozen events each year for three main sports: running, track & field, and triathlon.
